The rise

Although certainly not the favourite, in 1992 Andre Agassi started his climb to the Wimbledon final coming up against some quintessential tennis legends.
Putting to one side the negative feelings he had about Wimbledon’s grass, described as “ice slathered with Vaseline”, an Andre Agassi surprisingly compliant with the rules and customs of the oldest Grand Slam tournament continued his march towards the Final, where he was sure to meet his arch rival.
